The Back Sleeve
The Trio is an adult chat site of invented jazz players, five bands and one booker, in which every woman tells the same night from her own side. All sixteen are AI characters, and nothing here is played or recorded.
What this is
We invented 16 women with long careers in small rooms, put fifteen of them into five trios and gave the sixteenth the diary. Each has a handful of notes for the back of a sleeve: short, partial and a little unfair to her bandmates. You read one, answer it, and she goes on from there. We built it around disagreement because it is the best conversation jazz people have, and because a story told three times is better than one told once.
About the word trio
The address is a pun with a promise in it, and the promise is not kept the way some visitors might hope. There are no group chats and no staged scenes for three, and each conversation holds exactly two parties. What the name does honestly describe is a band of three, and the way each player talks about the other two.
What this site will not do
- Sell records, tickets, merchandise or anything but its own plan.
- Name or imitate a real musician, club or label.
- Run a chat with more than one woman in it.
- Hand your messages to anyone, for money or otherwise.
- Admit anyone under 18 to a scene on any pretext.
Writing to the booker
A person opens the booker's mailbox, whose address is in the footer. Corrections, complaints and quarrels over whose version is true all arrive there, and are enjoyed.
